What to expect...
At our Kennington (Oxford) studio, lessons are exclusively in throwing on the wheel with a dedicated teacher (Mags) to support you in making up to 3 pots in every session. The studio has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to let you enjoy the creative experience. All sessions are a maximum group size of four - with two teachers available so you will never be left without support when you need it. Basic session price includes keeping and kiln firing of your favourite pot (including glaze). Or, come back later to glaze your own pots! (£7 for the extra session)
What you need....
Very short finger nails are definitely best but not essential.
Long hair should be tied back.
Rings and bracelets/watches should be removed (if possible).
Bring shoes that are easily cleaned - they may get splashed with wet clay!
