Covid-19 studio expectations from September 1st 2021

Hand sanitiser, or access to a hand-basin for washing hands, will be provided at the start and end of each lesson.

Students (and teacher) will be expected to wear a face mask (disposable mask provided or bring your own).

Please do not attend if you or a member of your household are exhibiting high temperature, new cough or loss/change of sense of smell. Your Teacher will have tested negative for Covid in the last 96 hours (3-4 days).

Lessons missed due to Covid-19 symptoms may be re-booked for a later date.

What to expect...

At our Kennington (Oxford) studio, lessons are exclusively in throwing on the wheel with a dedicated teacher (Mags) to support you in making up to 3 pots in every session. The studio has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to let you enjoy the creative experience. All sessions are a maximum group size of four - with two teachers available so you will never be left without support when you need it.  Basic session price includes keeping and kiln firing of your favourite pot (including glaze). Or, come back later to glaze your own pots! (£7 for the extra session)

What you need....

Very short finger nails are definitely best but not essential.

Long hair should be tied back.

Rings and bracelets/watches should be removed (if possible).

Face mask.

Bring shoes that are easily cleaned - they may get splashed with wet clay!
